I Hate Exams! =(

Music: Keane - Spiralling

Urgh, my head is spinning as I'm typing this, or should I say, spiralling?

Yep those pesky headaches are back in full force. URGH!

Costing this morning was a total disaster.

Firstly, I was having a really bad headache, and to top that off, I didn't get a wink of sleep at all last night! Part excitement for Perfect Symmetry, part nervousness for this morning's test I suppose. Plus, it was just one of those sleepless nights. Damn.

Anyway, back to the test. What kind of questions were those?? I couldn't understand a single thing. Although I think that has more to do with the headache than the questions themselves. No wait. The questions sucked! Thank God it's not part of the 40% coursework.

And urgh, Spiralling's stuck in my head. It's so 80s-ish, and I usually hate 80s music with their tacky beats but somehow this works. A bit of biasness, I guess? Ah well. Oh and the umh album cover for Spiralling is so colorful...NOT digging that.

....how tacky is that?????

Spiralling...Out of My Mind?

Music: Utada Hikaru - Beautiful World

Keane's finally releasing their 3rd album after two years.

Interesting name for the album, Perfect Symmetry. Somehow that reminds me of Death the Kid from Soul Eater? You know, the whole symmetrical thing? Well those who watch Soul Eater knows what I mean and those who don't...go ahead and watch it! Anyway, Perfect Symmetry is the title of one of the songs in the album and I'm hoping that it sounds a lot better than...

Spiralling

That, is the name of their new single, and I must say - after waiting for it for SOOOOO long - I'm disappointed with the song! It's a little lame, truth be told. Instead of Keane or even Coldplay we're getting...Steps? S Club 7?? KYLIE MINOGUE? It's so freaking poppish! WTF! The beginning of the song gave me goosebumps (not the good kind, I mean the freaked out kind of goosebumps), and there's this 'wooh woohing' thing that sounds extremely cheesy and tacky.

I can't believe you Keane! I don't want cheesy pop! =(

*sulks in dark corner*

...

I'll keep listening to 'Spiralling' anyway. Maybe I'll get used it soon.

*crosses fingers*

*listens to Panic at the Disco instead*

EDIT: All right, all right, after a few listens, it really ain't that bad after all. It's kinda cool actually. From sappy ballads to pop-funk-thingy, you guys rock! I take back the sulking in the dark corner part. Kudos for trying something new and not getting any backlash for it Keane! *cough*MinutestoMidnight*cough* The fans love ya!

PS: Oh btw I'm blogging again when I'm suppose to be studying bwahahahaha =P

Wish me luck with costing in...less than 12 hours!

MTV Asia Awards Malaysia 2008

Music: Panic At The Disco - That Green Gentleman

Malaysia had the honor to host the MTV ASIA AWARDS 2008 last night.

Oh if only I could have gotten tickets to the awards show...

But anyway. Watched it on MTV last night!

And it rocked! GO MALAYSIA! *grins from ear to ear*

Compared to the previous award shows I mean, Malaysia actually did a really good job.

The sound system was good, the stage looked great and best of all, whoever planned it invited awesome performers!

Leona Lewis, PCD, OneRepublic, Panic At The Disco - can it get any better? =D Well actually it can, but what the heck, it's good enough for MTV Asia. I mean, the performers from previous years (and the horrible sound system coming from, surprisingly, Singapore) were very dull, remember Avril Lavigne? That was NOT a good live performance.

On to the actual performances. PCD was great, they were full of energy. Leona was a bit off-pitch but still great! OneRepublic, The Click Five and PATD were just okay (Brendan Urie was sweating like mad LOL). Electrico and Stefanie Sun - kinda boring. EAR (East Asian Revolution?? Pop Shuvit's part of it) was uh...noisy. Surprisingly (to me), The Script (some new Irish band) and Super Junior (Korean boyband) gave the best performances of the night - they really rocked!! As for the hosts, I was never a fan but Jared Leto is freaking hawt! *drools* And he was really cool too! He should have dragged his band members along, but then again I guess Malaysia will have to fork out more $$? Karen Mok was a bit stiff, but still acceptable. Good choice of hosts MTV!

There was one thing I didn't like about it though - where were our local artistes? Come on, this is Malaysia, having PCD presenting 3 awards in a row is kinda lame, don't you think so? And only one local performer, Pop Shuvit. And they were not alone, they performed as the EAR Project thingy, so that doesn't really count either. Where was everyone else? Siti Nurhaliza? Faizal Tahir? Or what about Disagree? Or any other local bands? If we get a chance to host this again, I hope there will be more variety of presenters.

Still, good job Malaysia, let's give ourselves a round of applause!

The Dark Knight

Music: Destiny's Child - Say My Name

Ah it takes me 5 days to blog about Batman =P (am I lazy or what??!!)

Anyway, I watched The Dark Knight on Wednesday (the 23rd). Treated my parents to the movie, as it is my dad's birthday next Wednesday (in three days)and that's my present for him.

The movie? It rocked! (My dad kept raving about Jack Nicholson though *rolls eyes*)

Heath Ledger was fantastic as the Joker, it's a pity that he never lived to see his own masterpiece =( Why do the good die young?? WHY GOD WHY??? *wipes away a tear*

Ahem *clears throat*

I feel sorry for Bruce Wayne aka Batman because the Joker? Well, he totally stole every scene away from dear old Batty. I can remember the Joker's every movement (okay, I'm exaggerating) but dear old Brucey...I can't remember anything about him. Other than him crashing his Lamborghini (that poor car! Batty, if you don't want it please give it to me, mmkay?)

Did I mention that I have a costing test tomorrow? Here I am...BLOGGING instead of studying...ahahahaha.... =/

Another Random Update

I was just watching reruns of ANTM Season 7 (I think, the one with Caridee?) and you know what? Miss Know-It-All 'BJ' reminds me of that annoying little bitch Melrose!

Their manner of talking.

Their know-it-all ways.

And from what I can see, BJ's quite competitive.

And whiny.

'This is a discrimination!'

'Touch my body (sir)!'

Sounds familiar anyone? =)

PS: I'll be watching The Dark Knight tomorrow, and everyone's been telling me how wonderful it is. Will be watching it with my parents, since my dad REALLY wants to watch it and it's his birthday next week so this will be a birthday treat for him =D (that way I don't have to hunt for a bday present).

Okay...

Music: Somewhere Only We Know - Keane
Mood: Grumpy

Alright, an update here, although I don't really have much to update on.

Anyway. I'm totally swamped with assignments and tests now. And the finals are in about...3 weeks? Damn it. I'm really unprepared, out of 4 subjects I only understand 1 (that would be law) so basically, I'm really screwed. 3 weeks. Omg. That's like really soon T.T *needs to start studying*

Btw, remember Miss Know-It-All? I mentioned her a few posts ago. It's tiresome to type out 'Know-It-All' so let me just call her...BJ.

She is really getting on my nerves. Seriously.

No wait, let me rephrase that - she's getting on everyone's nerves, I think.

The sound of her voice is really...nauseating. If I had a baseball bat around me I'd have hit her with that a long, long time ago.

She's so annoying that I'm actually blogging about her! And I don't usually blog about people I don't care about but yeah. She's special. Specially annoying.

I don't care if she (or any of her friends) stumbles upon my blog and figures out who I'm talking about; I've had enough of her. Two words for her, only two words: SHUT UP!

Yeah I know I'm being mean but what the heck. I'm feeling grumpy! *pouts*

A Special Thank You To A Few People

Music: Resonance - T.M. Revolution

It's 3am in the morning and I can't sleep so here I am, blogging.

Who do I wanna thank, you might wonder?

Well, I'm in melancholic mood again.
Suddenly I really miss studying law.
Not business law, but like, actual law ya know, like in IPG (now PTPL) law and all?
Sometimes I can't help but wonder...have I made a mistake by choosing commerce over law? Sigh. Only time will tell I guess.

But for now, I have some thank yous to make.
First of all I'd like to thank Mr. Siraj, Mr. Khoo, Mr. 'Fish' (I can't remember his name! Crap...what's his REAL name Sharyl? Tell me!! Lol.) and yes, even Ms. Saw.
And also I'd like to thank Xiana :) Thanks so much for your help! So sorry to bother you right after your exams, just when you'd want to forget about it for a little while.
Without you guys, I don't think I would have been able to do my Business Law assignment. So, thank you. And you know what, although I skipped many classes and spent most of my time daydreaming in class last time? It was fun. It really was.

I just HAVE to get this off my chest - guess what I found out while I was looking through my friends list in friendster? David's in it! Yes, that David from class, that David who dates you know who. Lol! How on earth did he get into my list? Did I add him or something? Did HE add me? O.o Wtf I don't even know him. I just know who he is. Lol. LOL. *dies laughing*

Of PDA and Know-It-Alls

Music: Death and All His Friends - Coldplay

Sorry it took so long for me to update this. Got lazy =P

I guess some of you are wondering what's up with the morbid music I'm listening to? Well it's not that morbid. Okay maybe it is, what with cemeteries and death and ghosts, but hey! Blame Coldplay! All I care about is the music. It's nice, that's it, I don't care what it's about =P

Right, on to the main topic.
Yes PDA, Public Display of Affection. Wondering why I'm blogging about this? Well it started last Thursday. Or was it Wednesday? Not sure but anyway. See, we were hanging out on the sixth floor of Inti, and there was this girl. Apparently a friend of HM's. Or at least a schoolmate? Not sure about that either so um whatever =P Anyway this girl, her boyfriend was like, all over her. Kissing her, hugging her, swinging her around - and we were sitting there watching. When we were suppose to be studying. I know, but heck it's very distracting to see such...obvious displays of affection!

Now I don't know about you, but I find that ridiculous and disgusting. A little PDA is all right I guess, but when you're swinging your girlfriend around and kissing her like everywhere, in front of EVERYONE else - now that's just lame and showy. C'mon people...get a room! What are you trying to do, make us envy you? I know you have a LOVING boyfriend and all but get over yourself. I don't think anyone else cares about you or your boyfriend so yeah, keep your affections to yourself.

Next up, know-it-alls. Let me ask you a question - do you find know-it-alls annoying? Well I do. I will not mention names, but let's just say there's this really annoying know-it-all in my class. Just. Really. Annoying. I really, REALLY feel like telling this person, 'You know what, absolutely NO ONE will miss hearing your voice, so shut up, k?'

Who else agrees with me??
