Happy 2008 everyone!

Well well people, it's the last hour of 2007.
Won't be fair if I don't post something on the last day of the year right?
2007 has been a rather uneventful year, I suppose. With the exception of A Levels exams, everything else just seemed to pass by so fast.

Ah 2008.
A brand new year, and a brand new beginning too.
New college(university college to be exact heh) and new (and foreign) subjects too. Time to start all over again! Hopefully things will turn out well.
I'd make resolutions, but then I never follow through.
Just to keep myself in check though, I really hope that in 2008 I'll :

- be less lazy
- be more patient
- be more focused on my studies (heck I'll be spending a lot of my parents' money so I'd better be focused! =P)
- spend less time at home; which leads to...
- be more active (gah there's moss growing all over me)
- spend more money on books!! (bibliophiling away lol)
- finish off all games I've bought so far
- dye my hair purple BWAHAHAHA
- get a boyfriend (MY MUM'S BUGGING ME ABOUT IT! *sticks tongue out*)

There you go. My sort-of-resolutions. Hopefully I'll be able to accomplish at least 1/3 of that list. To everyone else, good luck with your resolutions (if you had bothered to make them) too!

Tales of the Abyss

It's been too long since I've updated my blog (Okay, it's only been a week but what the heck).

First of all I'd like to say...THANK YOU BECKY DARLING FOR LENDING ME TALES OF THE ABYSS! I'm getting addicted to it *hums the theme song*

I guess I wasn't that impressed with the game initially...but the story's getting more exciting =D Luke, the main character, is a total idiot, but there's something about him that's somewhat endearing, unlike Cloud =.=" (an idiot too, but I can't stand that spiky-haired-moron) And he looks so adorable after he cuts his hair!! *squeals* And Tear, I must say that Tear's one of my favourite game heroines! I hope that the 'Luke' at the end of the game is Luke and not Asch! *crosses fingers*

...and yes I know that because - I couldn't control myself! - I've already watched the ending of the game in youtube! It's so...sad yet satisfying at the same time. Lol I am crazy aren't I? Watching the ending when I'm only about like...1/3 through the game =P Hopefully I'll be able to finish the game soon, before any assignments or exams get in my way.

And also...it's almost 2008!
Time really flies eh...

The Usual Randomness

I feel the need to update my blog although there's not much to update on.
Oh wait there is!

Yesterday was my last official day of work, so yay!
No more long hours of standing around. I'll have to go back to help on the 30th, but that's only one day so it's okay.

The reason why I've stopped working is because the INTI orientation is next week, and classes will follow soon after. Need some time to relax and...play my PS2 for the next few days =P

Speaking of PS2, I've finally learnt how to play blitzball! Oh I am so proud of myself

Layout

Bear with me while I test out my ugly own-made layouts.
Tired of pre-mades, but absolutely clueless on how to make a nice one for myself.

Anyway, some updates. Went back to work today, but it is Sandy's (my boss/supervisor/manager/whatever) off day, so I was stuck with her lazy-sour-money-faced sister, who did almost nothing as usual. I wasn't in the mood to work at all, and yet there I was, stuck with that auntie. There's absolutely no way I will be spending time with her for the whole day! I had to come up with an excuse to leave early. Thank god I'm (still sorta) sick I guess - I told her that I didn't want to stay in the ridiculously ice-cold Queensbay Mall for that many hours. Surely I'll catch a cold or something (which is true!) Thank god she accepted my rather lousy explanation, and even advised me to take some honey for my sort-of cold O_______O But...I feel guilty for leaving Siew Yi alone with that auntie (I don't even know her freaking name!)

So sorry to disrupt your plans and make you work today Siew Yi!! And to get you stuck with her...I swear I'll make it up to you somehow.

P.S: I still sound like a half-decent toad @.@

Sick

Gah I feel so sick now.
Horrible sorethroat, and I've lost my voice!
*sobs*
Won't be working for the next few days too! (at least that's a relief)
Have been spending the past few days playing FFX-2.
It's harder than FFX.

YAY!

I finally finished playing FFX!
Horribly horribly sad ending :(
FFX definitely has the best story among all the FFs I've played.
Though I must say I HATE the random battles. And Tidus' speed. Horribly slow.
And am I the only one who finds FFX easy to complete? :P

P.S: Do stick around to listen to the ending theme, it's really awesome! (altthough it sounds really sad)

Random Update

My dreams are getting more and more morbid somehow O_O
A few weeks ago I dreamt of dead bodies falling from trees. How creepy is that?!
And just last night I dreamt of something related to Fatal Frame 2. Who in their right mind would want to dream of that?!?!?! *shudders*

Anyway on to less horrific stuff. It's December already! Festive season and all, but I don't feel all that cheery. On the bright side I'll be going to Singapore in a week if nothing goes wrong :D

And you know what...my hand is still aching from all that ice-cream scooping on Friday! X_X Bloody macadamia ice cream.

I think I should revamp my blog layout somehow but I'm all out of ideas.
