Wooooooooooooooo (sorry, can't think of anything)

You know what, I was deprived from the internet for three days! Three days people, three days and guess whose fault was that? My mum's! Believe it or not, she forgot to pay the bill for two months, and they (TMNet) just cut off my connection with no warnings whatsoever.

And there I was on Tuesday night, wondering what was wrong with the modem.

Thank God it's finally back, today, this morning, after the bill was paid sometime yesterday.

Oh also, I collected my results yesterday and phew, I passed everything! Not only that, I actually got a B- for Costing (accounts)! I was kinda expecting to fail that, so I'm really glad :)

B+ for both Law and Finance, and a beautiful C+ for Macroeconomics. I know that's a really lousy grade but wth, I had expected to fail that. And I didn't! *does a silly dance*

Ooh ooh I'm also getting closer to finishing FFX-2! Took me one freaking hour to kill that stupid Angra Mainyu thingy in Bikanel Desert. Just Djose temple left and then I'm off to the Farplane! Oh and Becky darling did you attempt Via Infinito in Bevelle? That place is F-R-E-A-K-Y!

Bored

Music: Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl

Holidays for one week so far, and I'm already bored! =(

There isn't much to do I guess...what have I been doing so far? Lets see...

1. Sleep
2. Eat
3. Sleep again
4. Watches TV when no one else is hogging it
5. Go online (doing nothing)
6. Finished watching Amatsuki (the one and only accomplishment so far!)
7. Listens to music when there's nothing else to do

...

That's about it. Hah. So much for doing something useful.

Viva La Vida

Music: Radiohead - There There

Wow. Blogging about music three days in a row. Cool huh.

Anywaaaaaay, I just watched the video clip for 'Viva La Vida' and umh this is all I have to say:

What's with the idiotic hand movements Chris? You look like you're possesed!

Horrible video to a very cool song.

(I'm channeling Simon Cowell now. Criticizing anything and everything.)

I can imagine the video for 'Spiralling' now. Colorful. Funky psychedelic graphics in the background. Tom Chaplin dancing around, waving his hands about ala Chris Martin in Viva La Vida. With Tim (sorry!) and Richard behind him, doing the same silly dance moves. Awesome. Very 80s.

And mind you I'm being sarcastic!

I Hate Exams! =(

Music: Keane - Spiralling

Urgh, my head is spinning as I'm typing this, or should I say, spiralling?

Yep those pesky headaches are back in full force. URGH!

Costing this morning was a total disaster.

Firstly, I was having a really bad headache, and to top that off, I didn't get a wink of sleep at all last night! Part excitement for Perfect Symmetry, part nervousness for this morning's test I suppose. Plus, it was just one of those sleepless nights. Damn.

Anyway, back to the test. What kind of questions were those?? I couldn't understand a single thing. Although I think that has more to do with the headache than the questions themselves. No wait. The questions sucked! Thank God it's not part of the 40% coursework.

And urgh, Spiralling's stuck in my head. It's so 80s-ish, and I usually hate 80s music with their tacky beats but somehow this works. A bit of biasness, I guess? Ah well. Oh and the umh album cover for Spiralling is so colorful...NOT digging that.

....how tacky is that?????

Spiralling...Out of My Mind?

Music: Utada Hikaru - Beautiful World

Keane's finally releasing their 3rd album after two years.

Interesting name for the album, Perfect Symmetry. Somehow that reminds me of Death the Kid from Soul Eater? You know, the whole symmetrical thing? Well those who watch Soul Eater knows what I mean and those who don't...go ahead and watch it! Anyway, Perfect Symmetry is the title of one of the songs in the album and I'm hoping that it sounds a lot better than...

Spiralling

That, is the name of their new single, and I must say - after waiting for it for SOOOOO long - I'm disappointed with the song! It's a little lame, truth be told. Instead of Keane or even Coldplay we're getting...Steps? S Club 7?? KYLIE MINOGUE? It's so freaking poppish! WTF! The beginning of the song gave me goosebumps (not the good kind, I mean the freaked out kind of goosebumps), and there's this 'wooh woohing' thing that sounds extremely cheesy and tacky.

I can't believe you Keane! I don't want cheesy pop! =(

*sulks in dark corner*

...

I'll keep listening to 'Spiralling' anyway. Maybe I'll get used it soon.

*crosses fingers*

*listens to Panic at the Disco instead*

EDIT: All right, all right, after a few listens, it really ain't that bad after all. It's kinda cool actually. From sappy ballads to pop-funk-thingy, you guys rock! I take back the sulking in the dark corner part. Kudos for trying something new and not getting any backlash for it Keane! *cough*MinutestoMidnight*cough* The fans love ya!

PS: Oh btw I'm blogging again when I'm suppose to be studying bwahahahaha =P

Wish me luck with costing in...less than 12 hours!

MTV Asia Awards Malaysia 2008

Music: Panic At The Disco - That Green Gentleman

Malaysia had the honor to host the MTV ASIA AWARDS 2008 last night.

Oh if only I could have gotten tickets to the awards show...

But anyway. Watched it on MTV last night!

And it rocked! GO MALAYSIA! *grins from ear to ear*

Compared to the previous award shows I mean, Malaysia actually did a really good job.

The sound system was good, the stage looked great and best of all, whoever planned it invited awesome performers!

Leona Lewis, PCD, OneRepublic, Panic At The Disco - can it get any better? =D Well actually it can, but what the heck, it's good enough for MTV Asia. I mean, the performers from previous years (and the horrible sound system coming from, surprisingly, Singapore) were very dull, remember Avril Lavigne? That was NOT a good live performance.

On to the actual performances. PCD was great, they were full of energy. Leona was a bit off-pitch but still great! OneRepublic, The Click Five and PATD were just okay (Brendan Urie was sweating like mad LOL). Electrico and Stefanie Sun - kinda boring. EAR (East Asian Revolution?? Pop Shuvit's part of it) was uh...noisy. Surprisingly (to me), The Script (some new Irish band) and Super Junior (Korean boyband) gave the best performances of the night - they really rocked!! As for the hosts, I was never a fan but Jared Leto is freaking hawt! *drools* And he was really cool too! He should have dragged his band members along, but then again I guess Malaysia will have to fork out more $$? Karen Mok was a bit stiff, but still acceptable. Good choice of hosts MTV!

There was one thing I didn't like about it though - where were our local artistes? Come on, this is Malaysia, having PCD presenting 3 awards in a row is kinda lame, don't you think so? And only one local performer, Pop Shuvit. And they were not alone, they performed as the EAR Project thingy, so that doesn't really count either. Where was everyone else? Siti Nurhaliza? Faizal Tahir? Or what about Disagree? Or any other local bands? If we get a chance to host this again, I hope there will be more variety of presenters.

Still, good job Malaysia, let's give ourselves a round of applause!
