A Quiz and Prince Caspian
A quiz I found in my dear cousin Becky's blog; sis it applies to you too! XD
Half of it sounds pretty accurate I guess? Especially the overactive imagination part. And I love this sentence:
'You don't have to work hard for what you want'
Wow, that's nice XD
I also watched Prince Caspian today.
Much better than first movie I'd say! And the only Narnia book I've read before too. But the character Peter annoys me...are all characters named Peter dumb or what? We have Peter Petrelli, Peter Parker...and oh god, now we have Peter Pevensie O_o What's with the double Ps?? (no offense to Peter Pan, I think he's all right). Prince Caspian himself is just all right...he's not THAT hot after all =P After staring at his pretty boy looks/locks for about 2 1/2 hours...he becomes a lot less appealing...lol.
...why am I only commenting on the guys in the show? =P
PS: I think Edmund's hot! XD
What Amanda Means |
You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. You have the classic "Type A" personality. You are confident, self assured, and capable. You are not easily intimidated. You master any and all skills easily. You don't have to work hard for what you want. You make your life out to be exactly how you want it. And you'll knock down anyone who gets in your way! You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people. You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts. You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals. You are balanced, orderly, and organized. You like your ducks in a row. You are powerful and competent, especially in the workplace. People can see you as stubborn and headstrong. You definitely have a dominant personality. |

Sigh
Time really flies.
Can't believe it has already been two weeks (and more) since I came back from Hong Kong. Feels like just yesterday I was there.
All in all, this week has been an interesting week. I'm getting used to the new classes, and I take back my words - the subs this semester are actually quite interesting. The lecturers are all nice, although we hardly get to leave earlier anymore =P I guess the lecturers this term are really enthusiastic about their job! Which is a good thing, although I still have the tendency to doze (even if not physically asleep, mentally I am) off during classes XD
Haan-ming, I know you think I'm crazy for missing piano lessons, but I guess you're gonna think I'm even crazier now! =D Lol.
Recently I've been reading the blogs of some contacts in my MSN list.
I must say, I really applaud those who blog almost everyday? I think it's kinda cool that you guys can think of so many things to blog about. Me? Well I'm updating more nowadays, but generally I'm still not much of a blogger hehe.

You're Never Gonna Believe This But...
...I MISS PLAYING THE PIANO! O_O
Yeah, I miss it so much that I have decided to blog about it. So not me huh?
I guess it's more or less caused by La Corda D'Oro, and you're never gonna believe this either...but I have been toying with the idea of continuing piano lessons since...well since I stopped in 2003 =P And as stupid as this sounds...at the beginning of every year starting from 2004, I have thought about this but...
Somehow, as the year progresses on, I'd forget all about it, and as another new year approaches, I'd start thinking about it again...and...well it's 2008 now, and this year I am (hopefully) determined to actually do something about it! And not just the piano, I'm also (once again, HOPEFULLY) determined to do something about guitar and violin (now this might be a little too late though) lessons. I have my mum's support...I think.
And speaking of mums, I would like to wish my mum a
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
On a side note, my English is really deteriorating...

And It All Begins Again...
Sigh.
New semester, new subjects. None of the subjects are appealing, with the exception of Business Law. A combination of ELS, tort and contract (mostly contract law), just not UK but Australia. Not too bad I guess. Finance? Double sigh. It looks worse than economics. And the lecturer is so so...gay! Am I the only one that feels that way or what?! And what else do we have? Cost and Management Accounting. Triple sigh. Trix, I need your help! T.T
Will post more pics of Disneyland later tonight

All right, here are some of the pics I promised. Took a lot of photos. Can't post them all, so I'll just post a few:
The hotel we stayed in, the first night.
Had dinner at a seafood restaurant on the first night.
At Aberdeen Bay, on the 2nd day if I'm not wrong.
Somewhere in Ocean Park on Monday.
Splendid China, Tuesday.
Hong Kong Disneyland, Wednesday.
New ride in disneyland, 'It's a small world'.
That's all for now, ciao ;)

It's Time For An Update
I'm back from Hong Kong people!
Since two days ago actually. Would have updated earlier, except for the fact that my head's been spinning for the past few days. Still spinning now, just not so bad. Yep. My computer screen's spinning while I'm typing this.
Well as you all know (I think), I was away for 5 days and 4 nights. Spent about 2 days in Shenzen, the rest of the days in Hong Kong. And where did we go? Disneyland Hong Kong of course ;)
Quite fun, but there were no fun rides. The shows were nice though, will show you some pics later, have yet to upload them into my comp. It felt like I've stepped into Kingdom Hearts actually =P
Went to Ocean Park too, quite fun there as well. Splendid China in Shenzen, too. Now that was really nice. The cultural shows were fairly impressive.
I'll stop here for now, feeling a little too dizzy to continue typing this.
